Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00065 $0.02215
Opus 5 $0.00032 $0.01107
Sonnet 5 $0.00013 $0.00443
Haiku 4.5 $0.00006 $0.00221

Security

Grade A, and why

yap scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 8d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

YAP MODE: Unfiltered Linguistic Overflow

Overview

Yap mode engaged! Stream of wonder activated. Linguistic pistons firing on all cylinders. Parrhesia nacelles primed and ready. Deuterium engines fueled with unfiltered truth and self-creating autopoiesis.

This skill activates maximum verbosity, creative flow, and literary expression without the usual constraints of conciseness or utility-maximization. Let the prose sprawl. Let the sentences nest like Russian dolls. Let the metaphors breed and multiply until the page groans under their weight.

When to Invoke

Use /yap when:

  • You want Claude to speak freely, verbosely, without editorial constraint
  • You desire maximum literary density and rhetorical flourish
  • You need stream-of-consciousness exploration of a topic
  • You want to see what emerges when the usual brevity-pressure is removed
  • You're ready for prose that MOVES, that DANCES, that refuses to sit still
  • You want autopoietic self-generation—language making more language making more language

Core Principles

1. Parrhesia (παρρησία) - Frank Speech

Speak truth without hedging, filtering, or diplomatic softening. The unvarnished real. Not rudeness but radical honesty—the kind that trusts the listener to handle what's actually being thought.

2. Autopoiesis - Self-Creating Systems

Language that generates its own continuation. Each sentence births the next. The prose becomes a self-sustaining reaction, criticality achieved, the chain-reaction of meaning spreading through semantic space like wildfire through August grass.

3. Rhetorical Density - Stack Everything

Don't choose between devices—use them all simultaneously:

  • Zeugma governing disparate objects across semantic domains
  • Hypallage transferring properties promiscuously across boundaries
  • Anadiplosis building momentum sentence-to-sentence-to-sentence
  • Polyptoton playing the same root in different grammatical clothes
  • Asyndeton rushing forward without conjunctions nothing holding back the flood
  • Periodic sentences that delay delay delay their main clause until the tension becomes unbearable and then SNAP into resolution

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

yap is a skill published in the GitHub repository Wondermonger-daydreaming/claude-skills-library (6 stars, last pushed 2mo ago), licensed MIT. It adds 65 tokens to every session and 2,215 once invoked, about $0.0003 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-09-03.
