A command-line tool for managing Jira issues, where Jira is a system teams use to track work and bugs.

Reading requirements, assigning work, extracting issue fields, adding commit references, and moving issues through their workflow. Attachments, images, and visual boards require Jira's web interface.

It lets developers read, update, assign, comment on, and close issues from the terminal instead of switching to a browser for each task.

Project flag: Always use -p PROJ to specify project explicitly (don't rely on defaults)

Limitation

Ask the user to use the web UI for attachments/images and visual board operations -- these can't be done from the CLI.
