Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00033 | $0.00432 |

Grade A, and why
initial-vs-dynamic-skill-listing-batching scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 6d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
What it actually says
SKILL: Initial-vs-Dynamic Skill Listing Batching
Domain: skill-listing Trigger: Apply when a listing or announcement stream needs to tell consumers whether they are seeing the first full exposure or an incremental update. Source Pattern: Distilled from reviewed skill-listing and attachment-stream implementations.
Core Method
Use prior-sent state to classify each listing batch before you mutate that state. If nothing has been sent yet, tag the outgoing payload as the initial batch; otherwise tag it as a dynamic delta. This lets downstream consumers render bootstrap and update flows differently without re-deriving history from raw command lists. The classification should happen immediately before the send-state is updated so it reflects what the consumer is about to receive, not what was already persisted afterward.
Key Rules
- Compute the initial-versus-dynamic flag from the pre-send state, not after mutating the sent set.
- Keep the batch classification attached to the outgoing payload so downstream consumers do not need to infer it indirectly.
- Update the sent-state immediately after deciding what will be emitted so later batches classify correctly.
- Return no payload at all when there are no new items; an empty delta should not masquerade as either an initial or dynamic batch.
Example Application
If a terminal agent announces available slash commands, mark the first emitted attachment as isInitial: true so the UI can show an onboarding-style listing. When a plugin reload later adds two commands, emit only those new commands with isInitial: false so the UI treats them as a compact delta update.
Anti-Patterns (What NOT to do)
- Do not infer initial-versus-dynamic by batch size alone; a small first batch and a small later delta can look identical.
- Do not compute the flag after adding the new items to the sent set; that turns the first batch into a false dynamic update.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

initial-vs-dynamic-skill-listing-batching is a skill published in the GitHub repository ychampion/cskill-agents (36 stars, last pushed 5mo ago), licensed MIT. It adds 33 tokens to every session and 432 once invoked, about $0.0002 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-09-03.

Use Grape MCP for Codex context continuity in coding repositories. Use when a task needs repeated-turn context, omitted context restore, stale-context checks, invalidation checks, or safe continuity across branch and dirty-worktree changes.
