flutter-dialog

flutter-dialog is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from yendangn/flutter-app-builder. It costs 69 tokens per session (446 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

An application interface for showing dialogs, brief messages, alerts, confirmations, loading indicators, and bottom sheets in Flutter apps. Flutter is Google’s toolkit for building mobile and desktop interfaces from one codebase.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it when adding confirmations for risky actions, toast messages, notification banners, loading dialogs, or custom dialogs to Flutter screens.
Why use it?
It gives feature code one app-owned way to display messages and prevents inconsistent or unsafe direct use of dialog libraries. It also helps ensure loading indicators are always dismissed.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5 $0.00069 $0.00446
Opus 5 $0.00034 $0.00223
Sonnet 5 $0.00014 $0.00089
Haiku 4.5 $0.00007 $0.00045

Security

Grade A, and why

flutter-dialog scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 4d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Flutter Dialog

Key rules

  • AppDialog is the app-owned interface. Never use ScaffoldMessenger or showDialog() directly in feature code — always getIt<AppDialog>().
  • Never import flutter_smart_dialog outside app_dialog_impl.dart.
  • wrapApp(BuildContext, Widget?) — call once in MaterialApp.router's builder. Keeps the flutter_smart_dialog init inside the wrapper, out of app.dart.
  • Five dialog types:
    1. showToast(message) — brief dismissing message (bottom of screen)
    2. showNotification({message, type}) — info/success/warning/error banner
    3. showConfirm({title, message, ...})Future<bool> — destructive actions
    4. showLoading({message}) + dismissLoading() — async operation indicator
    5. Custom dialog via showCustom(builder: ...) — any widget
  • showLoading() / dismissLoading() calls must be balanced — always dismiss in finally blocks.
  • Confirm dialogs for destructive actions set isDangerousAction: true to show red confirm button.
  • Call AppDialog from cubits (via constructor injection) or from BlocListener in pages — never from build().

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
