perspective-critic

perspective-critic is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from yogsoth-ai/stress-test. It costs 29 tokens per session (344 once invoked), scanned A, original, Apache-2.0.

A viewpoint-based review tool that evaluates an artifact from one assigned perspective, such as a methodological skeptic, domain expert, or practitioner. It reports concerns, strengths, and confidence.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to obtain separate critiques of a plan, claim, design, or other artifact from selected roles or areas of expertise.
Why use it?
It helps preserve distinct viewpoints so different reviewers do not blend their judgments into one average opinion.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00029 $0.00344
Opus 5 $0.00015 $0.00172
Sonnet 5 $0.00006 $0.00069
Haiku 4.5 $0.00003 $0.00034

Security

Grade A, and why

perspective-critic scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 6d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Perspective Critic

Evaluates artifact from a specific assigned perspective.

Execution

Subagent — spawned via subagent-spawning/spawn-agent.

Why Subagent

Each perspective requires dedicated context to maintain viewpoint consistency. Mixing perspectives in one context leads to averaging rather than genuine diversity.

Input

  • artifact: The artifact being evaluated
  • perspective: Assigned viewpoint (e.g., "methodological skeptic", "domain expert", "practitioner")
  • other_perspectives_output: Previous outputs from other perspectives (empty in round 1)

Output

  • assessment: Structured evaluation from this perspective
  • concerns: Issues visible from this viewpoint
  • strengths: Positives visible from this viewpoint
  • confidence: How viable the artifact appears from this perspective (0.0–1.0)

Budget

One unit = one perspective evaluation per round.

Available SOPs

Optional, no fixed order; the final leaf is always a sop.

SOP When to use
spawn-agent Spawn a customized CC subagent with full MCP tool access. Used by SOPs that declare execution: subagent.

What ships with it

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
