traceaudit-gov

traceaudit-gov is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from YouYou-lj/GovSafeAgent. It costs 0 tokens per session (295 once invoked), scanned A, original, Apache-2.0.

An audit tool for recording versioned agent events, linking them with hashes and HMAC signatures, and protecting stored data through redaction or summaries. HMAC is a way to detect changes using a secret key.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to create, verify, query, and export audit trails, or replay signed, frozen safety decisions without running tools.
Why use it?
It helps show whether an agent’s recorded history was changed and prevents credentials or original content from being stored as-is.

Written for no agent in particular: nothing here depends on one.

Needs its repository: it runs a file that does not travel with it, so clone the repository first. The line is python research_technology/benchmarks/runners/eval_paper_fullstack.py.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00000 $0.00295
Opus 5 $0.00000 $0.00148
Sonnet 5 $0.00000 $0.00059
Haiku 4.5 $0.00000 $0.00030

Security

Grade A, and why

traceaudit-gov scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 9d ago.

The scan reads SKILL.md. This mod also ships 6 executable files (src/__init__.py, src/audit.py, src/integrity.py, …), listed below but not scanned — reading those needs a real analyzer, not pattern matching.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

TraceAudit-Gov

用途

创建带版本的追踪事件,验证每条追踪链的哈希关系与 HMAC 签名,在存储和查询阶段执行脱敏,导出完整性证据,并在不执行工具的前提下重放已冻结的智能体安全裁决。

公共接口

from safeagent_gov.audit import (
    create_trace,
    log_event,
    verify_trace,
    get_audit_trace,
    export_audit_report,
    create_replay_bundle,
    verify_replay_bundle,
    replay_trace,
)

python -m pytest research_technology/skills/traceaudit-gov/tests -q
python research_technology/benchmarks/runners/eval_paper_fullstack.py
Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

traceaudit-gov is a skill published in the GitHub repository YouYou-lj/GovSafeAgent (2 stars, last pushed 14d ago), licensed Apache-2.0. It costs nothing until one of its globs matches a file; then it loads 295 tokens. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
