overflow

overflow is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from zackbart/connecta. It costs 1 tokens per session (869 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A connection to Overflow for handling donations and their payment records. Overflow supports several asset types, including cash, stock, crypto, and donor-advised funds.

In plain words
What is it for?
Reviewing deposits, totals, line items, contributions, refunds, and chargebacks, and polling for updated records.
Why use it?
It prevents mistakes caused by different money units and status meanings across donation types.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00001 $0.00869
Opus 5.5 $0.00000 $0.00348
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00000 $0.00174
Haiku 4.5 $0.00000 $0.00087

Security

Grade A, and why

overflow scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 6d ago.

The scan reads SKILL.md. This mod also ships 4 executable files (fixtures.ts, index.ts, provider.test.ts, …), listed below but not scanned — reading those needs a real analyzer, not pattern matching.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

How it starts

The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 77 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.

Money, units, and status

Overflow does not use one money unit, so read the unit per field:

  • Fields named …InCents are cents: deposits and their line items and totals, refunds, chargebacks, and the authorize body.
  • Recurring-gift amount is dollars: Overflow's create and update bodies say so, and its subscription reads carry the same field.
  • Contribution amount states no unit in Overflow's schema. Check one known gift before reporting totals.
  • status is per asset type. A gift is final at PAID_OUT (cash), CONFIRMED (manual cash, crypto), CONTRIBUTION_RECEIVED or BILLED (stock), and CONTRIBUTION_RECEIVED (DAF). statusBucket filters by Overflow's coarser PENDING / CONFIRMED / FAILED / CANCELED.
  • There is no funds endpoint. A gift reports its campaign and subcampaign; fundId and subFundId appear only in the payment-authorize body.
  • Poll for changes with minimumUpdatedDate; minimumInitiatedDate is when the donor gave.

Reconcile a deposit

list_deposits → get_deposit_summary for totals → get_deposit for the line items, whose referenceId names the contribution, refund, or chargeback. Contributions also carry their depositId.

Donor data is sensitive

Giving history and donor contact details are personal data. Reduce inside execute_code — aggregate, count, or keep ids — and return names, emails, phones, or addresses only when the task needs them. Lists and contributions already omit contact details; get_donor is the deliberate lookup.

Writes go through overflow_api_mutate

Every Overflow write moves money or changes a donor record, so none has a named tool. Each is one approval-gated overflow_api_mutate call with Overflow's documented body:

  • POST /contributions charges a saved payment method. Its amount states no unit; confirm it against a known gift of the same donor before charging. POST /payments/authorize takes amountInCents and authorizes a new method (0 only saves it).
  • POST /contributions/{id}/initiate-refund (under $1,000 only).
  • POST / PATCH / DELETE /subscriptions/{donorId}[/{subscriptionId}] creates, changes, or cancels a recurring gift. Its amount is dollars, not cents: a $50.00 monthly gift is amount: 50. Cancel takes a cancellationReason body.
  • POST /donors, PATCH /donors/{id}.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

overflow is a skill published in the GitHub repository zackbart/connecta (0 stars, last pushed today), licensed MIT. It adds 1 tokens to every session and 869 once invoked, about $0.0000 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-10-08.
