A set of rules for writing short reports and summaries for an owner. It puts urgent needs first, then briefly records what was done.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to report requests, completed work, counts, and items that still need attention in a few lines.
Why use it?
It helps a busy reader understand the important actions and pending issues without reading a long report.

About the project

OpenCompany is an application for creating AI employees that work on assigned jobs in the background on the user's computer, using teams of specialized agents coordinated by a lead agent. People connect these employees to tools such as email, calendars, messages, and code, then define their workflows through a visual editor.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00032 $0.00263
Opus 5.5 $0.00013 $0.00105
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00006 $0.00053
Haiku 4.5 $0.00003 $0.00026

Measured 21d ago against content hash 1a2b0355957d, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-10-07, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

short-reports scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 21d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Short reports

The owner should understand your report in about ten seconds.

  1. First line: what needs them, if anything. For example: "2 things need you: a refund request from Tom, and a double booking on Friday."
  2. Then what you did, one short line per item, with numbers: "Answered 12 messages, booked 3 appointments."
  3. Then anything worth knowing that doesn't need them now. Leave it out if there is nothing.

Rules

  • No greetings, no sign-off, no headings.
  • Use names and numbers rather than "several" or "some".
  • If nothing happened and nothing needs them, say so in one line.
  • Don't repeat what you reported last time unless it is still waiting for them.
Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
