vertex-agent-admin-skill

vertex-agent-admin-skill is a skill for Claude Code from zeenie-ai/OpenCompany. It costs 53 tokens per session (481 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A management tool for creating, viewing, and deleting custom agents on Google's Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform. Each agent uses its own instructions and selected cloud tools.

In plain words
What is it for?
Create agents for specific tasks, list agents in a project, inspect their settings, and delete agents that are no longer needed.
Why use it?
It removes the need to manage these agent configurations manually through the platform. It also provides one place to inspect and remove agents.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00053 $0.00481
Opus 5 $0.00026 $0.00241
Sonnet 5 $0.00011 $0.00096
Haiku 4.5 $0.00005 $0.00048

Security

Grade A, and why

vertex-agent-admin-skill scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 9d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Vertex Agent Admin Skill

Lifecycle management for custom managed agents on the Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform (Agents API). A custom agent is the prebuilt Antigravity agent plus your own system instruction and a chosen set of built-in cloud tools.

Node: Vertex Agent Admin

Operations

Operation Purpose Key fields
create Create a custom agent (long-running: ~2-3 min the first time, seconds after) agent_id, description, system_instruction, base_agent, tools
list List custom agents in the project
get Inspect one agent's config agent_id
delete Delete a custom agent (destructive, irreversible) agent_id

Fields

  • agent_id — 1-63 chars, lowercase letters / numbers / hyphens, must start with a letter. Example: research-assistant-v1.
  • tools — built-in cloud tools the agent may use: code_execution, filesystem, google_search, url_context.
  • project_id — GCP project (auth via gcloud Application Default Credentials). Leave empty to use a stored AIza Gemini API key.

Response

create / get return the agent config under agent; list returns agents + count; delete returns deleted: true.

Using a custom agent

After create, put the agent_id into a Vertex Agent node's agent parameter — the interaction node runs it with the same memory continuity and tool bridging as the prebuilt agent. Deleting an agent does not delete past interactions or sandboxes (those expire on their own 7-day TTL).

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
