html-design-revision

html-design-revision is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from zenitheditor/zenith. It costs 54 tokens per session (243 once invoked), scanned A, original, Apache-2.0.

A procedure for making small, controlled changes to an existing HTML and CSS design file. HTML defines page content and CSS controls its appearance and layout.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to change a named color, text, size, position, or element, then render the result and check for layout changes or overflow.
Why use it?
It reduces accidental changes to unrelated text, positions, sizes, and styles while revising a design.

Written for no agent in particular: nothing here depends on one.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00054 $0.00243
Opus 5.5 $0.00022 $0.00097
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00011 $0.00049
Haiku 4.5 $0.00005 $0.00024

Security

Grade A, and why

html-design-revision scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 5d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

HTML design revision

Revise the design file in place. Change only what the request names. Every other element keeps its position, size, color and text.

Read references/revising.md before the first edit.

  1. Read the whole file first. Find the rule or element the request names.
  2. Make the smallest edit that does it. Prefer edit_file over rewriting the file.
  3. Reuse existing classes, variables and values. Never rename or reorder unrelated rules.
  4. Keep the layout model of the file. If the file uses flex, stay on flex. Never mix in absolute positioning to fix one element.
  5. Render with view after the edit and compare against the request.
  6. Check that nothing else moved: text did not rewrap, boxes did not shift, nothing overflows the canvas.
  7. Reply with one short sentence when done.

What ships with it

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
