What is fix-md-escaping?

A Markdown troubleshooting helper for characters and formatting that render incorrectly. Markdown is a plain-text writing format where symbols can control links, emphasis, tables, and lists.

Use it to check Markdown when symbols disappear, angle brackets are consumed, emphasis breaks, or text becomes an unintended list.

It helps find escaping problems that can hide characters, change formatting, or break tables and lists in the rendered page.
