reverse-skill-router

reverse-skill-router is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from zhaoxuya520/reverse-skill. It costs 50 tokens per session (314 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A routing entry point for a repository of authorised reverse-engineering and defensive-security procedures. It selects the appropriate procedure for a task and requires the case scope to be recorded first.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to route reverse-engineering, CTF, security-analysis, or defensive-testing requests when the required repository is open in the workspace.
Why use it?
It helps keep security investigations within an explicit, documented scope. It also directs the work to the relevant analysis method instead of treating every task the same way.

About the project

Reverse Skill is a routing package for AI coding agents that selects appropriate reverse-engineering, penetration-testing, and security-research methods and tools for a given target. It is used for tasks involving APKs, binaries, frontend JavaScript, packet captures, CTF challenges, and authorized penetration testing. Its catalogue add-ons provide the skills and instructions that guide these workflows.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00050 $0.00314
Opus 5 $0.00025 $0.00157
Sonnet 5 $0.00010 $0.00063
Haiku 4.5 $0.00005 $0.00031

Security

Grade A, and why

reverse-skill-router scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 5d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Reverse Skill Codex adapter

This plugin is an optional Codex entry point. The repository remains the canonical, client-neutral implementation.

When the current workspace is the reverse-skill repository:

  1. Read RULES.md at the repository root.
  2. Run the platform-native skills/scripts/master-route entry with the user's task to select the PRIMARY skill from skills/config/routing.json.
  3. Before any target action, create and validate work/<case>/scope.md with the platform-native case-init and case-guard scripts.
  4. Open the selected skills/<PRIMARY>/SKILL.md and follow its task-specific instructions.
  5. Resolve tools only through the generated skills/tool-index.md; do not register MCP servers or install tools unless the user requested that action.

If the repository is not the current workspace and no local repository path was supplied, explain that this adapter does not bundle a second copy of the router. Ask the user to open or clone https://github.com/zhaoxuya520/reverse-skill and then continue from its RULES.md.

Do not treat the presence of this plugin, a target name, or a sample path as authorization. Authorization comes from the repository's scope contract.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
