zihin-tools-de-agente

zihin-tools-de-agente is a skill for Claude Code from zihin-ai/zihin-mcp. It costs 70 tokens per session (1,233 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A playbook for adding external APIs, SQL databases, or MCP servers to a Zihin agent. It explains the schemas, validation steps, authentication references, path parameters, and checks needed for the new tool to resolve correctly.

In plain words
What is it for?
Defining API tools, connecting databases, adding external MCP servers, creating secrets, validating configuration before saving it, and confirming that an agent tool is available.
Why use it?
It prevents configuration mistakes that can make an integrated tool fail silently or route requests incorrectly.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00070 $0.01233
Opus 5 $0.00035 $0.00616
Sonnet 5 $0.00014 $0.00247
Haiku 4.5 $0.00007 $0.00123

Security

Grade A, and why

zihin-tools-de-agente scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 8d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

How it starts

The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 69 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.

Tools de agente — API, SQL e MCP externo

Workflow universal: leia o contrato (zihin://schemas/api_config ou db_config) → monte → validate_schema_data (dry-run) → create_schema. Depois confira com list_agent_tools que a tool aparece como resolved.

api_config — chamar API externa

create_schema com schema_type: "api_config" e schema_data = { tool_definition, editor_schema }.

Regras críticas (violar = falha silenciosa em runtime):

  1. editor_schema.api.endpoints[].name DEVE ser IGUAL a tool_definition.name — se diferirem, a tool quebra o roteamento interno sem erro claro.
  2. Path parameters usam ${variavel} (com cifrão): path /items/${item_id} com item_id declarado no input_schema.
  3. Auth canônico é { "prefix": "Bearer"|"Basic", "secret_ref": "<nome-do-secret>" } — o campo type é DEPRECATED. Para Basic, armazene o secret já em base64.
  4. tool_definition.description mínimo 20 chars e deve dizer O QUE a tool faz e O QUE retorna (o LLM do agente decide por ela).

Referencie via secret_ref.

Campos de transformação (opcionais por endpoint): default_body (valores fixos mergeados), locked_fields (campos que o LLM não pode sobrescrever — enforcement server-side), field_mapping (renomeia campos), array_fields, body_format: "array", defaults_from_context (auto-inject de valores do contexto do webhook quando o LLM não fornece — safety net autoritativo).

db_config — consulta SQL parametrizada

create_schema com schema_type: "db_config":

{
  "connection_id": "<uuid de list_connections>",
  "tool_definition": { "name", "description", "input_schema" },
  "query_template": "SELECT ... WHERE campo ILIKE '%' || $1 || '%' LIMIT COALESCE($2, 10)",
  "parameter_mapping": ["campo_do_input_1", "campo_do_input_2"],
  "result_mapping": { "format": "table", "max_rows": 50 }
}

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
