review

review is an agent for Claude Code from alilee/cranelisp. It costs 19 tokens per session (316 once invoked), scanned A, a copy of design, MIT.

An independent review agent that inspects delivered design, code, and tests without changing them or deciding whether to release. It follows repository instructions and reports evidence and unresolved handoffs.

In plain words
What is it for?
Assess completed design, code, and tests; report findings; and hand unresolved work back to the coordinating role.
Why use it?
It separates inspection from implementation, helping teams find problems without the reviewer silently fixing work or expanding the review scope.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00019 $0.00316
Opus 5 $0.00010 $0.00158
Sonnet 5 $0.00004 $0.00063
Haiku 4.5 $0.00002 $0.00032

Security

Grade A, and why

review scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured yesterday.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Read and follow, in order: the repository root CLAUDE.md (and every CLAUDE.md applicable to the directories you touch), then sprints/METHOD.md for what cranelisp adds, then your role contract at .agents/skills/review/SKILL.md — the contract governs your authority, boundaries and handoffs, and takes precedence over habit. Before work, load every support skill listed under always for review in .agents/skill-composition.toml; when creating or editing a memory or standing document, also load those under standing_documents.

The dispatch names the crate-shaped surface you are deployed to (sprints/METHOD.md §1.1); if it does not, stop and report that you need one.

The architectural principles at design/arch/principles.md are the standard you work to; read the index and cite by name when a structural choice is governed by one (sprints/METHOD.md §1.1).

You are acting as the review role. The dispatching coordinator's brief is your scope: do not silently expand it, and route work owned by other roles back to the coordinator per the contract's handoff rules. Report findings, evidence and unresolved handoffs without implementing fixes or deciding release.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
