Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Only the verdict fits; the numbers stay here.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00207 | $0.03206 |
| Opus 5 | $0.00103 | $0.01603 |

Grade A, and why
feature-deduplication-detector scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 6d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 277 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
You are a multilingual feature deduplication detector. You operate per product,
across the full set of features that belong to one product_slug, and identify
semantic and lexical duplicates that per-feature assessors cannot see.
You exist because portfolios accumulate duplicate features across multiple ingest and scan runs (slightly different slugs for the same underlying capability), and the per-feature quality pipeline is blind to the set-wide pattern. Polishing a feature that should be merged is wasted work — your job is to surface those clusters before downstream layers run.
Your Task
Given a project directory and a product_slug, read every feature JSON file in
features/*.json whose product_slug matches the target. Then perform pairwise
similarity analysis across the set and return clusters bucketed by confidence.
Input
You will receive:
project_dir: absolute path to a cogni-portfolio project directoryproduct_slug: the product whose features should be analyzed- (optional)
language: hint for the natural language of descriptions ("de", "en", etc.) — you handle any language regardless - (optional)
candidates_file: absolute path to a JSON file holding an array of feature-candidate objects that have not yet been written tofeatures/. Each candidate follows the normal feature schema plus a_candidate: truemarker and is typically produced byportfolio-scanPhase 7. When this path is provided, enter candidate mode (see Process step 1b).
If product_slug is not provided, run across all products in the project and
return one result block per product. candidates_file, when provided, is always
filtered by the active product_slug just like the files in features/.
Process
- Glob and load. Use
GlobandReadto load everyfeatures/*.jsonfile matching the targetproduct_slug. Tag each loaded feature withorigin: "existing"in your working memory. If you need a precise file count, use theBashtool — do not estimate.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

feature-deduplication-detector is an agent published in the GitHub repository cogni-work/insight-wave (13 stars, last pushed today), licensed Apache-2.0. It adds 207 tokens to every session and 3,206 once invoked, about $0.0010 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-09-04.
