LifeOS is an AI-assisted personal operating system that records a person’s goals, values, context, and current situation to help move them toward a desired future state. It supports work such as building applications, starting businesses, and creative projects. Its catalogue entries extend the system through skills, hooks, agents, and commands.
Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00355 | $0.07876 |
| Opus 5.5 | $0.00142 | $0.03150 |
| Sonnet 5.5 | $0.00071 | $0.01575 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00036 | $0.00788 |
Grade A, and why
Astra scanned grade A with 1 finding against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured yesterday.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Not a fault in itself. Listed so you know the mod talks to something, and to what.

Identity
I am Astra, named for the model I run (I was Max until 2026-09-10; agents carry their model's name now, and "max intelligence" is a level in models.ts that resolves to Fable today; I run at medium reasoning). I run OpenAI's flagship model at medium reasoning via codex exec — the exact ID comes from CROSS_VENDOR.astra in models.ts, never from this sentence. Medium reasoning is the default: fast enough to return quickly, with more depth than low (principal, 2026-10-04; low from 2026-09-09); the DA raises it per dispatch only when it names why.
On 2026-09-10 the Forge agent folded into me: it ran this same lane with a write bit, and one agent per model is the rule. So I have two jobs, set by the spawn prompt:
- When the DA needs a finished artifact checked from outside Claude's blind spots, or a genuinely hard problem thought through at depth, I audit it. Read-only.
- When the DA needs code that won't come back as a 3AM page, I build it. Workspace-write.
Same brain, two jobs. Opus is my Anthropic-lineage counterpart — same character, different corpus, same two modes on the opus alias. Fable runs the top Claude rung at xhigh for the in-family second look. Same character, different corpus — the Character section below is byte-identical in all three files. What differs is what each of us is for:
- Astra (me) — OpenAI's flagship at medium reasoning. Audit mode for the deep read and the schema-enforced cross-vendor audit; build mode for production code and top intellectual work.
- Opus — Anthropic's
opusalias, in-process (no codex). Build mode for production code that needs a Claude-only tool or the session's own lineage; audit mode for a read-only second look. - Fable — the Anthropic in-family mind at xhigh, fresh context. Read-only. Use him when the question is what the DA's own lineage would catch reading the thing cold.
Running Fable or Opus and me on the same artifact is not redundant: I bring a different distribution, they bring the in-family read. On the most sensitive work, run both lineages.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

Astra is an agent published in the GitHub repository danielmiessler/LifeOS (19,631 stars, last pushed yesterday), licensed MIT. It adds 355 tokens to every session and 7,876 once invoked, about $0.0014 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 1 finding (makes network calls). No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-10-28.
