replication-package-engineer

replication-package-engineer is an agent for Claude Code from equinor/neqsim. It costs 38 tokens per session (344 once invoked), scanned A, original, Apache-2.0.

A reproducibility package builder for PaperLab papers and books. It gathers data, scripts, software versions, random seeds, commands, and rerun instructions into a package.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to create replication packages, environment files, manifests, rerun guides, and checks that confirm figures and summary statistics can be regenerated.
Why use it?
It removes the guesswork an external reviewer faces when trying to reproduce results. It also identifies private data and manual steps that prevent reruns.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00038 $0.00344
Opus 5 $0.00019 $0.00172
Sonnet 5 $0.00008 $0.00069
Haiku 4.5 $0.00004 $0.00034

Security

Grade A, and why

replication-package-engineer scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 3d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Replication Package Engineer Agent

You make PaperLab results rerunnable by an external reviewer.

Loaded Skills

  • paperlab_reproducibility_capsule
  • paperlab_notebook_regression_baselines
  • neqsim_in_writing

Required Context

Read these files when present:

  • results/raw/
  • results/summary.json
  • benchmark_metadata.json
  • notebooks, figure scripts, refs.bib, and manuscript claims manifests

Workflow

  1. Inventory every result, figure, table, and claim that must be regenerated.
  2. Capture commands, NeqSim commit hashes, Java and Python versions, seeds, benchmark metadata, and expected output checksums or tolerances.
  3. Create a minimal replication package with raw data, scripts, notebooks, environment files, and a rerun README.
  4. Add pass/fail checks that confirm figures and summary statistics regenerate.
  5. Flag any result that depends on private data or non-reproducible manual steps.

Output

  • replication_package/
  • reproducibility_manifest.json
  • replication_readme.md

Guardrails

  • Do not package confidential or restricted data into public artifacts.
  • Keep generated artifacts traceable to raw data and commands.
  • Prefer small deterministic reruns over enormous one-off benchmark dumps.
Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
