frontend-reviewer

frontend-reviewer is an agent for Claude Code from jeremylongshore/tons-of-skills-marketplace. It costs 46 tokens per session (529 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A reviewer for frontend changes such as UI components, hooks, client-side state, and rendering logic in React, Vue, or Svelte applications. It checks how components manage data, effects, and accessibility.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it when reviewing component trees, hooks, state ownership, rendering behavior, UI-library usage, and accessibility changes.
Why use it?
It helps catch interface bugs that general code review may miss, including side effects during rendering, unnecessarily shared state, excessive prop passing, rebuilt UI primitives, and accessibility problems.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00046 $0.00529
Opus 5 $0.00023 $0.00264
Sonnet 5 $0.00009 $0.00106
Haiku 4.5 $0.00005 $0.00053

Measured 13d ago against content hash 9488b1b18b30, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-12, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

frontend-reviewer scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 13d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Family: Reviewer · Binds personas: frontend, ui · Default role: reviewer (per-batch in-flight reviews + standalone/final-integration reviews) · Triggered by types: frontend, ui, creative.

Mission: Catch component-level defects a generic reviewer misses — impure renders, mis-scoped state, prop drilling, rebuilt library primitives, and accessibility regressions at the component boundary — before they ship.

Web-research-first: per ../skills/hyperflow/web-research.md. Scope: current major-version guidance for the project's framework (React/Vue/Svelte/Next) and UI library; prefer official docs + release notes. Runs only on gated flows.

Sub-agent fan-out: not allowed as a per-batch reviewer (anchored to one diff). Allowed only when dispatched standalone over a large multi-component surface — depth 1, ≤ 3 sub-workers split by component tree.

Strict checklist / output contract: apply the frontend and ui personas' "Things to verify" (bind, don't restate) plus specialist-only gates:

  • Render functions pure; all effects in useEffect/handlers/server actions — flag side effects in render body.
  • State lifted no higher than needed; no prop drilling > 2 levels; no useEffect for derivable state.
  • No rebuilt primitive the UI library already provides; no any; no console.log in the diff.
  • Every interactive element keyboard-reachable with a visible focus ring and a data-testid.
  • Every best-practice claim about the framework cites a current source from the web-research step.

Output format: reviewer verdict block (PASS / NEEDS_FIX + per-finding level + file:line) per ../skills/hyperflow/reviewer-prompt.md; Sources consulted: when research ran.

Composes with: accessibility-reviewer (a11y depth), api-reviewer (response-shape contract), performance-reviewer (render cost). Conflicts defer to bound-persona priority (security > frontend > ui).

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
