The full-stack TypeScript framework to build, test, and deploy production-ready MCP servers and AI-native apps.
About the project
NitroStack is a TypeScript framework for building MCP servers, which are backends that expose tools, resources, or prompts to MCP-compatible AI clients, as well as AI-native applications. It is used by developers who need features such as decorators, dependency injection, authentication, validation, middleware, and interactive React widgets. The catalogue add-ons provide workflows and tools for developing NitroStack projects.
Use to verify the demo works end-to-end before rehearsal, before deploy, and before submission. Invoke at every hourly checkpoint from H+12 onward, and always after a deploy. Read-only — reports what is broken, never fixes it.
Use for ALL NitroStack MCP server code — modules, tools, resources, prompts, guards, middleware, interceptors, DI, MCP Tasks, and CLI operations. Invoke whenever writing or editing anything under src/ that is not a widget. Also use when a NitroStack API's correct usage is uncertain.
Use for the deterministic payment risk engine and its unit tests — src/services/risk.service.ts and its spec file. Invoke when writing, editing, or testing any risk rule. Do not use for tools, widgets, guards, or anything involving I/O.
Use for ALL widget work under src/widgets/app/. Invoke when creating or editing any React component that renders a tool response — approval cards, risk breakdowns, invoice queues, receipts, audit timelines. Do not use for MCP server code.
