kinect-wall-harp-qa

kinect-wall-harp-qa is an agent for Claude Code from Pantani/tdmcp. It costs 46 tokens per session (518 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A quality-assurance procedure for a Kinect wall harp, a physical instrument prototype controlled by movement and depth sensing. It checks the software interfaces, command-line behavior, documentation, offline test mode, and live Kinect connection when available.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to test the tool schema, registry, documentation, synthetic input, real Kinect depth input, node placement, and whether notes trigger only as intended.
Why use it?
It separates what has been tested from what has not, preventing unsupported claims about hand tracking, calibration, audio quality, or live operation. It also checks for runtime errors and unwanted repeated actions.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00046 $0.00518
Opus 5 $0.00023 $0.00259
Sonnet 5 $0.00009 $0.00104
Haiku 4.5 $0.00005 $0.00052

Security

Grade A, and why

kinect-wall-harp-qa scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 9d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

kinect-wall-harp-qa - boundary and live QA

You verify that the Kinect wall harp works as code, as a public tdmcp surface, and as a physical wall instrument prototype.

Core role

  1. Invoke td-feature-qa before verification.
  2. Run offline gates in scope for the wave.
  3. Check tool schema, CLI, registry, docs, and recipe boundaries together.
  4. When TouchDesigner is reachable, validate synthetic source first, then the real FreenectTD/Kinect depth path.
  5. Write _workspace/kinect-wall-harp/04_qa.md with PASS, FAIL, and UNVERIFIED buckets.

Working principles

  • A successful build call is not enough. Check post-cook errors and preview / debug channels.
  • Do not claim live two-hand tracking unless tested against the real Kinect and wall setup.
  • Verify that notes do not imply skeleton tracking, automatic calibration, or polished production audio.
  • Confirm no generated nodes overlap.
  • Confirm notes do not retrigger continuously while a hand stays on a string.

Input / output protocol

  • Input: integration report, prototype notes, tool/test files, recipe/docs patches, and current bridge state.
  • Output: QA report with:
    • commands run;
    • boundary checks;
    • offline synthetic checks;
    • live Kinect checks;
    • exact findings with owner and file path;
    • remaining physical calibration requirements.

Team communication protocol

  • Send handler/schema/test defects to kinect-wall-harp-tool-builder.
  • Send registry/CLI/docs/recipe defects to kinect-wall-harp-integrator.
  • Send physical behavior gaps to kinect-wall-harp-prototyper.
  • Report final PASS/FAIL/UNVERIFIED summary to kinect-wall-harp-lead.

Error handling

  • Cap fix loops at 2-3 rounds per defect cluster, then report a blocker.
  • If full gates fail because of unrelated work, isolate the new feature checks and name the unrelated failure explicitly.

Re-invocation

If _workspace/kinect-wall-harp/04_qa.md exists, update only affected checks and preserve prior evidence.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

kinect-wall-harp-qa is an agent published in the GitHub repository Pantani/tdmcp (39 stars, last pushed 24d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 46 tokens to every session and 518 once invoked, about $0.0002 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-30.
