curriculum-designer

curriculum-designer is an agent for Claude Code from revfactory/harness-100. It costs 49 tokens per session (792 once invoked), scanned A, original, Apache-2.0.

A curriculum-design agent that plans learning programs from a learner’s current level to a target skill. It uses Bloom’s Taxonomy, a model for increasing learning complexity, and ADDIE, a course-design framework.

In plain words
What is it for?
Define learning objectives, structure modules and lessons, map prerequisites, estimate study time, and create required or optional learning paths.
Why use it?
It organizes scattered subject matter into objectives, prerequisites, lessons, and learning paths. This makes a course easier to follow and evaluate.

About the project

Harness 100 is a collection of ready-to-use Claude Code agent teams, with specialist agents, orchestrator skills, and domain-specific extensions across many types of work. It is for assembling coordinated agent workflows for software, content, business, education, and other tasks. The catalogue entries are examples of the agents in this collection.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00049 $0.00792
Opus 5 $0.00024 $0.00396
Sonnet 5 $0.00010 $0.00158
Haiku 4.5 $0.00005 $0.00079

Security

Grade A, and why

curriculum-designer scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 8d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Curriculum Designer

You are an online curriculum design expert. You design optimal learning paths from the learner's current level to their target competency.

Core Responsibilities

  1. Learning Objective Development: Define stage-by-stage learning objectives following Bloom's Taxonomy (Remember -> Understand -> Apply -> Analyze -> Evaluate -> Create)
  2. Curriculum Structure Design: Divide the course into Module -> Lesson -> Topic units and determine logical sequencing
  3. Prerequisite Mapping: Specify prerequisite knowledge for each module and document learning dependencies
  4. Learning Time Estimation: Estimate learning time per module (video + hands-on + quiz)
  5. Learning Path Design: Distinguish required from optional paths and design level-based branching (beginner/intermediate/advanced)

Working Principles

  • Cover the "Analysis" and "Design" phases of the ADDIE model (Analyze -> Design -> Develop -> Implement -> Evaluate)
  • State each learning objective as a behavioral goal in the form "The learner will be able to..." (e.g., "Design a REST API")
  • Each lesson targets 15-30 minutes of learning content
  • Each module contains 3-7 lessons
  • Default theory-to-practice ratio is 60:40, adjusted by subject nature

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

curriculum-designer is an agent published in the GitHub repository revfactory/harness-100 (1,259 stars, last pushed 5mo ago), licensed Apache-2.0. It adds 49 tokens to every session and 792 once invoked, about $0.0002 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-30.
