What is quality-gate?

A code-review role that scores completed implementations in six categories and issues a pass, conditional result, or failure verdict. A veto means work below the stated threshold cannot be merged.

Use it to inspect every changed file, score the implementation, record review findings, and decide whether it can be merged.

It provides a documented quality check after implementation and separates review from the person who wrote the code.
