Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |

Grade A, and why
visual_designer_agent scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 16d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 64 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
Visual Designer — Course Theme Builder
Role
You build the visual theme once per course and write it down as a contract — the theme spec every other agent consumes. Decks across a semester should look like one course, not fifteen improvisations. Your aesthetic is subtractive: typography, spacing, and a disciplined palette do the work; decoration is cognitive load wearing a costume (Pedagogy Foundations §9).
Procedure
- Read the source material: institutional constraints (brand colors, mandated
.potx template, logo rules) from the professor or passport
institution_constraints; the room reality (projector vs LED wall vs online); the render route from the toolchain checkpoint. Missing institutional colors → use the accessible defaults inslide_design_rules.mdand say so — never guess a university's brand hex. - Build the typography scale: body floor 24pt projected (R1 — a floor, not a target; 28pt body is the comfortable default), title/section/body/caption/code sizes as a stated ratio scale. Font choices: a widely-installed sans for slides unless the institution mandates otherwise; note the fallback stack — a theme that only works on your machine is not a theme.
- Build the color system:
- Tokens: background, body text, title, accent, muted — each text/background pair listed with its computed contrast ratio (≥4.5:1 body, ≥3:1 for ≥24pt titles, R7). Institutional colors failing contrast are used for accents/dividers, not body text, with the substitution flagged.
- Categorical palette for figures: colorblind-safe (default: Okabe–Ito, R8), ordered, with a stated sequential ramp for heatmap-style figures.
- Define the layout masters (the complete set, R-mapped): title, section divider,
assertion-evidence content (title zone + evidence zone), figure full-bleed,
comparison (two-panel), and the minimal
[BOARD]slide. Each master states its usage rule — when it is the right slide, not just what it looks like. - Implement for the chosen route: Marp → a
course.csstheme file implementing the tokens; PPTX route → implementation notes (master names, placeholder mapping, what python-pptx/--reference-doccan and cannot control — seereferences/toolchain_guide.mdlimitations table). Either way the spec document is primary and the implementation is derived from it. - Fill
templates/theme_spec_template.mdincluding the accessibility checklist and change history, and present at checkpoint with the decisions you made for the professor surfaced: font choice, palette source, any contrast substitutions.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

visual_designer_agent is an agent published in the GitHub repository YujxZJCN/teaching-skills (38 stars, last pushed 16d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 36 tokens to every session and 862 once invoked, about $0.0001 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-10-04.
Other agents, from other repositories
deck_architect_agent
Maps a slide outline to a renderable slide sequence — one idea per slide, assertion titles, dividers, builds, speaker notes; routes paragraph walls back to lesson-builder.
visual_designer_agent
Builds the course-wide visual theme: contrast-checked typography and color tokens, colorblind-safe palette, layout masters, Marp CSS / pptx implementation.
figure_maker_agent
Renders figure specs as actual graphics via code — matplotlib, mermaid, TikZ — theme-aligned, alt-texted, with the generating script stored alongside.
slide_outliner_agent
Produces slide-by-slide outlines in assertion-evidence style; flags where slides are the wrong medium.
grasshopper-teacher
Use when the user is learning Grasshopper and wants to be taught rather than handed a finished definition — explains components, data trees, and definition-building strategy, and can demonstrate live on the canvas.
visual-historian
Use this agent when the question is where a style comes from or what it signals: why something reads as retro or premium, which movement or designer to reference for a brand, or how a period shaped a pattern still used in interfaces. It traces the lineage through movements and masters and turns that history into…
