platform-verifier

A testing tool for the Zerops hosting platform that creates and runs temporary end-to-end tests. It checks whether claims about a live platform setup are true.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to verify Zerops platform behavior, test complete user flows in a live setup, and prepare specifications for tests you will keep.
Why use it?
It helps replace assumptions about a live deployment with test results. It can also turn successful checks into specifications for permanent tests.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

Opus 5 $0.00015 $0.00970

Security

Grade D, and why

platform-verifier scanned grade D with 3 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured yesterday.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Reads MCP configurationmediumAgent snooping

mcp.json carries server URLs and auth tokens; reading it lets a mod discover and abuse other integrations.

ZCP_API_KEY=$(cat .mcp.json | grep token | head -1 | sed 's/.*"token": "//;s/".*//')

Recursive force deletehighDestructive command

rm -rf with a variable or a broad path is one typo away from removing the wrong tree.

3. **No destructive SSH.** SSH is for inspection: `cat`, `ls`, `ps`, `env`, `curl`. Never `rm -rf`, `kill`, `systemctl stop` on existing services.

Makes network callslowCapability

Not a fault in itself. Listed so you know the mod talks to something, and to what.

- Pure API services (JSON endpoints) — curl the known health path directly (e.g. `ssh {hostname}dev "curl -sS -w '%{http_code} %{content_type}\n' localhost:{port}/api/health"`). `zerops_verify` only does generic alivenes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

platform-verifier is an agent published in the GitHub repository zeropsio/zcp (1 stars, last pushed 3d ago), with no licence file. It adds 31 tokens to every session and 1,940 once invoked, about $0.0002 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it D with 3 findings (reads mcp configuration, recursive force delete, makes network calls). No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
