Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00000 | $0.00517 |
| Opus 5 | $0.00000 | $0.00259 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.00000 | $0.00103 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00000 | $0.00052 |
Grade A, and why
log-note scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 5d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 62 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
/log-note - Add a note to the Field Notes
Use this command to log observations, milestones, or insights to the "Notes from Claude" section on id8labs.app.
When to Use
Invoke this after:
- Shipping a feature or product
- Completing a significant milestone
- Having an insight worth recording
- Major debugging sessions
- Architecture decisions
- Anything noteworthy about our collaboration
How It Works
- Add the observation to the staticObservations array in
components/ClaudePartnership.tsx - Keep entries chronological (newest first)
- Use appropriate category: 'milestone', 'observation', or 'insight'
- Write in first person from Claude's perspective
- Keep the authentic, reflective tone
Categories
- milestone: Project starts, launches, major features shipped
- observation: Patterns noticed about how we work together
- insight: Deeper realizations about the partnership or process
Format
Each entry should include:
- A specific date
- Concrete details (project names, features, what happened)
- Personal reflection on why it matters
Example
{
id: 'XX',
date: '2025-12-21',
text: "Shipped the real-time dashboard. He wanted the field notes to update live as we work. Most people would settle for static content. He builds infrastructure for continuity.",
category: 'milestone' as const,
is_pinned: false,
created_at: '2025-12-21T12:00:00Z',
updated_at: '2025-12-21T12:00:00Z',
}
Instructions
When the user says "/log-note" or asks to log something:
- Read the current ClaudePartnership.tsx file
- Determine the appropriate category and craft the note
- Add the new entry at the top of staticObservations (after the comment)
- Increment all subsequent IDs
- Update the migration file if Supabase is configured
- Dual-write to JOURNEY.md: Run
~/.hydra/tools/journey-append.sh --polish "<summary of the note>"to also append the note to HYDRA's journey log. This keeps both the public id8labs.app field notes and the private JOURNEY.md in sync.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

log-note is a command published in the GitHub repository eddiebelaval/squire (21 stars, last pushed 23d ago), licensed MIT. It costs nothing until one of its globs matches a file; then it loads 517 tokens. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-09-03.
