ai-coding-blueprint: Command for Claude Code

.claude/commands/wrap-up.md

wrap-up is a command for Claude Code from ikhanux/ai-coding-blueprint. It costs 20 tokens per session (478 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A session-closing command that updates the project's status file, runs its checks, and commits and pushes the session's work. It also records what happened and what the next session should do.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it at the end of a session to refresh `.ai/STATUS.md`, run the repository's check command, review Git status, create a commit, and push it.
Why use it?
It prevents project context, verification results, and unfinished work from being lost between coding sessions. It also reduces the chance of leaving related changes uncommitted or unreported.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00020 $0.00478
Opus 5.5 $0.00008 $0.00191
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00004 $0.00096
Haiku 4.5 $0.00002 $0.00048

Measured 1mo ago against content hash f142a0b1a25a, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-10-07, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

wrap-up scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 1mo ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Wrap up

Close this session so the next one can start with "go". Follow the "Session end" rules in CLAUDE.md.

1. Update .ai/STATUS.md

Read the current file, then edit in place (don't rewrite sections that haven't changed):

  • Phases: update the Status column for any phase that moved
  • Recent sessions: add one bullet at the top, newest first, named "Phase N Session M (YYYY-MM-DD)": what happened, what shipped, what's still open. Keep only the last five; drop the oldest.
  • Current state: refresh the table (check status, open blockers, last commit)
  • Next up: the next concrete task with enough detail to start without clarifying questions, plus any "watch out for" traps
  • Settled decisions: add anything the user decided firmly this session that shouldn't be re-raised

Keep the file short. If it's past ~150 lines, trim the oldest material rather than appending.

2. Verify

Run the Check command from CLAUDE.md § Commands and paste the result. If it fails, fix it or record the failure in Current state. Don't leave it silent.

3. Commit and push

  • git status: nothing should be left uncommitted that belongs to this session's work
  • Stage and use /commit for the message (WHY, not just WHAT)
  • git push to the current branch. The git-guard hook blocks pushing to main; push a feature branch and open a PR instead (or delete that block in git-guard.sh if you work directly on main)
  • Confirm git log origin/<branch>..HEAD shows 0 unpushed commits and paste it

4. Recap

Short, plain-language summary for the user:

  • What shipped this session
  • What was verified and how (with the output from step 2)
  • What was NOT verified, explicitly
  • Next up (one line, mirrors STATUS.md)
  • Which model ran this session
Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
