opencode-agent-skills: Command for OpenCode

.opencode/command/test-skills.md

test-skills is a command for OpenCode from joshuadavidthomas/opencode-agent-skills. It costs 9 tokens per session (169 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A test procedure for the tools in a skills plugin. It lists steps for finding and loading a skill, reading its files, running scripts, passing arguments, and reporting errors.

In plain words
What is it for?
It is for exercising skill discovery, skill loading, file reading, and script execution with sample commands and arguments.
Why use it?
It provides a repeatable way to check whether the plugin tools work as expected instead of testing them informally. It also makes missing or unexpected results visible.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00009 $0.00169
Opus 5.5 $0.00004 $0.00068
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00002 $0.00034
Haiku 4.5 $0.00001 $0.00017

Security

Grade A, and why

test-skills scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 15d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Test all 4 skills plugin tools in sequence:

  1. First, use find_skills to list all available skills
  2. Then use use_skill to load the test-skill skill
  3. Use read_skill_file to load helper-docs.md from test-skill
  4. Use read_skill_file to load example-config.json from test-skill
  5. Use run_skill_script to run the greet script from test-skill
  6. Use run_skill_script to run the echo-args script from test-skill with arguments: hello world --test

Report the results of each step, noting any errors or unexpected behavior.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
