In plain words
What is it for?
It gathers changes since the main branch, lists commits, runs the repository's validation command, and updates the pull request with a public summary, validation results, and statistics.
Why use it?
It removes the need to manually collect commit, file-change, and validation details before updating the pull request.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00000 $0.00193
Opus 5 $0.00000 $0.00097
Sonnet 5 $0.00000 $0.00039
Haiku 4.5 $0.00000 $0.00019

Measured 6d ago against content hash 9b03ead7129f, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-06, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

pr-summary scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 6d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Update the current PR description with a fresh summary.

  1. Run git fetch origin main --quiet && git diff --stat $(git merge-base HEAD origin/main)..HEAD for change stats
  2. Run git log --oneline $(git merge-base HEAD origin/main)..HEAD for all commits
  3. Run pnpm run validate 2>&1 | tail -15 for validation status (house style, skill supporting files, spelling, skills-ref spec validation)
  4. Generate an updated PR body with:
    • Summary section (3-5 bullet points of key changes)
    • Validation section (checked items for what passed)
    • Stats (files changed, skills touched)
  5. Remember this is a public repository: the PR body must contain only publicly shareable language (see AGENTS.md, "Public content only")
  6. Update the PR with gh pr edit --body "..."
  7. Tell me the PR URL

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
