ai-design-vault: Command for Claude Code

.claude/commands/new-page.md

new-page is a command for Claude Code from textura-agency/ai-design-vault. It costs 12 tokens per session (462 once invoked), scanned A, original, Unlicense.

A command for creating a new website page or section according to the project's design and development playbook.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to plan a route, register it in the sitemap, build the view from reusable components, apply design tokens, add responsive states, and connect mock or asynchronous data.
Why use it?
It gives the agent a repeatable structure for routes, views, tokens, motion, content, and loading states instead of ad hoc implementation.

Written for Claude Code: argument-hint in frontmatter.

This is textura-agency/ai-design-vault's own configuration. It tells Claude Code how to work on ai-design-vault itself, so it is not a mod to install elsewhere. Copy it as a starting point and replace the rules that are about this project. Everything ai-design-vault configures →

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00012 $0.00462
Opus 5.5 $0.00005 $0.00185
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00002 $0.00092
Haiku 4.5 $0.00001 $0.00046

Measured 23d ago against content hash 66ca7180a744, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-10-07, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

new-page scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 23d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Implement a page or section: $ARGUMENTS

Follow obsidian/workflows/new-page.md. If a Figma URL was given, use the figma-to-section skill for extraction and asset handling.

  1. Read first — .claude/stack.json for the real paths, then obsidian/workflows/ai-agent-guide.md for the hard rules, then the topic notes you actually need (design-system.md for styling, motion-system.md + text-motion.md for motion, component-conventions.md for placement, html-semantics.md for markup).
  2. Plan the route — a thin route file under paths.routes that delegates to a view. Register it in the sitemap in the same change.
  3. Build the view in paths.views, composed of components. Reuse what exists before creating anything new.
  4. Tokens before styles. Any new colour/spacing/type/radius value becomes a Tier 1 primitive + Tier 2 semantic token in paths.styles, commented with its origin. Nothing hardcoded.
  5. Motion via the kit's primitives — the right one for each need, a semantic element on every wrapper, transform/opacity only.
  6. Content via props/hooks. Mocks under <paths.source>/data/mocks/<page>.*. Async data gets loading/error/empty states.
  7. Server-first — interactivity only at the leaf that needs it.
  8. Assets to <paths.assets>/<section>/, referenced by absolute path.
  9. Verify — run the qa-verify skill (script + judgement checks) and fix until clean.
  10. Document — update the catalog notes for anything new, add a changelog entry, and an ADR if you made an architectural choice.

Report: files created, new tokens and why, values that could not map to tokens (flag for design review), assumptions made.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
