claude-skills-fv: Hook for Claude Code

.claude/settings.json

PreToolUse is a hook for Claude Code from felvieira/claude-skills-fv. Its token cost is not measured, scanned A, a copy of PreToolUse, Apache-2.0.

A pre-action check that runs a shell command before the agent uses file-search tools such as Glob or Grep. If a knowledge-graph report exists, it tells the agent to read it before searching source files.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to add context before file-name and text searches, when the project may contain a generated knowledge graph.
Why use it?
It can give the agent existing information about the codebase before it starts raw file searches.

Hook for Claude Code

Written for Claude Code: PreToolUse hook event.

This is felvieira/claude-skills-fv's own configuration. It tells Claude Code how to work on claude-skills-fv itself, so it is not a mod to install elsewhere. Copy it as a starting point and replace the rules that are about this project. Everything claude-skills-fv configures →

Security

Grade A, and why

PreToolUse scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 12d ago.

A static scan of the commands this hook runs, not an audit. A hook is shell that executes on your machine at the event it names, which is why every command in it is printed with what was found.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
