What is SessionStart?

A session-start hook is an automatic command that runs when a coding-agent session begins. This one runs a shell script that inserts repository instructions into the session.

Use it to load AGENTS.md-style instructions automatically when a new session opens.

It makes the agent aware of the project’s guidance without requiring someone to paste or repeat it at the start of every session.
