ai-stack: Hook for Claude Code

.claude/settings.json

PostToolUse is a hook for Claude Code from jeetkhinde/ai-stack. Its token cost is not measured, scanned A, original, MIT.

A post-tool hook that runs a shell command after Edit, Write, or Bash operations finish. In a Git repository, it updates code-review-graph while allowing the tool operation to continue if the update fails.

In plain words
What is it for?
It is for tracking repository changes made through file edits, writes, and shell commands.
Why use it?
It keeps the review graph updated after code or command changes without requiring a separate manual command. It also avoids treating a failed update as a failed editing operation.

Hook for Claude Code

Written for Claude Code: PostToolUse hook event.

This is jeetkhinde/ai-stack's own configuration. It tells Claude Code how to work on ai-stack itself, so it is not a mod to install elsewhere. Copy it as a starting point and replace the rules that are about this project. Everything ai-stack configures →

Not installable: its command points at a path on the author’s own machine, so it runs nowhere else. The line is /Users/jagjeet/Development/workspaces/ai-stack\.

One of 4 entries in settings.json upstream. Installing this one merges just its entry into your config; the other 3 are separate, each on its own page.

Security

Grade A, and why

PostToolUse scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 14d ago.

A static scan of the commands this hook runs, not an audit. A hook is shell that executes on your machine at the event it names, which is why every command in it is printed with what was found.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What else settings.json configures

This page is one entry in a file that holds 4. Installing the file brings all of them; each is measured and scanned on its own page.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
