What is SessionStart?

A session-start hook runs a Node.js command when a coding session opens. It restores the current feature, branch, work wave, and slice from a scratchpad, and reports memory-layer version differences.

Use it to re-enter an automated development workflow with the right feature and branch context, and to notice version drift in its stored memory.

It helps a resumed or shortened session recover its working context instead of starting without knowing the current task state.
