manifest: Hook for Claude Code

.claude/settings.json

PostToolUse is a hook for Claude Code from mnfst/manifest. Its token cost is not measured, scanned A, original, MIT.

An automatic check that runs after files are written or edited in selected frontend source folders. It checks whether the code uses the project's defined design tokens, such as standard colors or spacing values.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to review design-token usage in frontend CSS, TypeScript, and TSX files under the specified package path.
Why use it?
It catches inconsistent visual values soon after an edit, before they spread through the interface. If the checking script is not present, it does nothing.

Hook for Claude Code

Written for Claude Code: ${CLAUDE_PROJECT_DIR variable.

This is mnfst/manifest's own configuration. It tells Claude Code how to work on manifest itself, so it is not a mod to install elsewhere. Copy it as a starting point and replace the rules that are about this project. Everything manifest configures →

One of 2 entries in settings.json upstream. Installing this one merges just its entry into your config; the other 1 are separate, each on its own page.

About the project

Manifest is an open-source gateway that gives AI agents and applications one OpenAI-compatible endpoint for API keys, subscriptions, local models, and other providers. It routes requests, records query data, tracks usage, and can fall back when a model request fails. The catalogue entry includes instructions, a hook, and a setting for operating Manifest.

Security

Grade A, and why

PostToolUse scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 2mo ago.

A static scan of the commands this hook runs, not an audit. A hook is shell that executes on your machine at the event it names, which is why every command in it is printed with what was found.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
