Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00813 | $0.00813 |
| Opus 5 | $0.00407 | $0.00407 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.00163 | $0.00163 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00081 | $0.00081 |
Grade A, and why
poe_mcp_suite AGENTS.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 9d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 64 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
poe_mcp_suite — Guide for AI Agents
This file is the vendor-neutral entry point for any MCP-compatible AI agent
(Cursor, Windsurf, Cline, Codex, Zed, Gemini CLI, custom agents, …). It routes
you to the shared, plain-Markdown resources in this repo. If you are Claude
Code, read CLAUDE.md instead/as well — it adds Claude-specific
mechanics (auto-triggering skills, a SessionStart hook, memory) layered on top of
everything below.
What this is
A collection of MCP servers that give an agent deep, live integration with Path
of Exile — build theory-crafting and passive-tree simulation via Path of
Building, trade/economy lookups, wiki and crafting data, and loot filters. Each
server runs independently; the tools are agent-agnostic by construction (standard
MCP). See README.md for the server/tool overview and
INSTALL.md for setup (submodules, dependencies, .mcp.json).
The current league name is in .mcp.json as POE_LEAGUE; pass it explicitly on
tool calls rather than trusting auto-detection when leagues run concurrently.
How to work in this repo
The suite uses a lightweight workflow framework. It is described once, in
playbooks/README.md — the shared meta-framework
(context management, league pre-flight, trust hierarchy, narration norms). Read
it before a substantial task, then the specific playbook that matches. The
playbooks are ordinary Markdown — any agent can read and follow them directly,
even without skill/rule auto-loading. Key ideas:
- Cursory-vs-detailed gate — decide up front whether a request is a quick
lookup (answer directly) or a multi-source/multi-stage analysis (engage the
matching playbook and pause for approval before pulling data).
playbooks/README.md§1. - Freshness discipline — the game changes every patch, and model training
data lags. For any patch-specific fact (mods, node stats, unique stats,
prices, league specifics), prefer fetching authoritative data via the tools
over answering from memory. Model-aware staleness index:
reference_data/freshness_index.md. - Cached game data lives in
reference_data/(gitignored but itsREADME.mdis committed — read it on a fresh clone). Check it before re-fetching; respect thefetched:/patch:/league:frontmatter. - Per-character analyses live in
character_data/(see itsREADME.md). Read a character's file before working on it; append findings as you go.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

poe_mcp_suite AGENTS.md is an instructions file published in the GitHub repository charleslucas/poe_mcp_suite (10 stars, last pushed 17d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 813 tokens to every session, about $0.0041 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
