Unity-AI-Cinemachine: Instructions file for Codex

AGENTS.md

Unity-AI-Cinemachine AGENTS.md is an instructions file for Codex, OpenCode from IvanMurzak/Unity-AI-Cinemachine. It costs 1,145 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

A project instruction file for a Unity package that exposes Cinemachine camera controls as agent tools. Cinemachine is Unity's system for creating and controlling game cameras, including movement, aiming, lenses, and transitions.

In plain words
What is it for?
It is for developing and testing Unity camera tools, such as creating cameras, setting targets, configuring camera components, and managing blends between shots.
Why use it?
It tells an agent how the repository is laid out, where tools and tests belong, and which files define versions and releases. This helps changes follow the project's existing structure.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.01145 $0.01145
Opus 5.5 $0.00458 $0.00458
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00229 $0.00229
Haiku 4.5 $0.00114 $0.00114

Security

Grade A, and why

Unity-AI-Cinemachine AGENTS.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 21d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

AGENTS.md — Unity-AI-Cinemachine

Unity package com.ivanmurzak.unity.mcp.cinemachine — Cinemachine (com.unity.cinemachine) for AI agents. It ships no MCP tools: an RQL module for Unity-MCP's rql-query / rql-mutate (the cinemachine source with CreateCamera / EnsureBrain, CinemachineCamera SetBody / SetAim / SetNoise / SetTargets, pipeline members body / aim / noise / extensions, and a guide rendered into the unity-rql skill). An extension of AI Game Developer (com.ivanmurzak.unity.mcp), generated from Unity-AI-Tools-Template; the former tool → RQL table is in README.md.

Layout

  • Unity-Package/ — Unity project hosting the package; only Packages/com.ivanmurzak.unity.mcp.cinemachine/ ships.
    • package.json — the version source of truth and the dependency pins.
    • Editor/Scripts/Rql/ — the RQL module (CinemachineModule), the cinemachine source (CinemachineApi), pipeline helpers (CinemachinePipeline), one adapter per file.
    • Runtime/ — runtime assembly (currently empty).
    • Tests/Editor/ (EditMode; Rql/: CinemachineTestBase + one file per adapter / source) and Tests/Runtime/ (PlayMode).
  • Unity-Tests/<unity-version>/ — one test project per supported Unity version, consuming the package via file:. A new version must also be added to test_pull_request.yml and release.yml (and open-all-projects-*).
  • Installer/ — Unity project that exports the .unitypackage installer (Assets/com.IvanMurzak/<name> Installer/).
  • commands/ — PowerShell helpers (below) and check-versions.py (synced in by the release cascade — do not hand-edit; CI runs it as the version-consistency gate).
  • .github/workflows/ — test_pull_request.yml (PR test matrix), test_unity_plugin.yml (reusable test job), release.yml, bump_version.yml.
  • docs/ — user docs: Deploy-{OpenUPM,GitHub,npmjs}.md, Manual-Package-Rename.md, openupm-signing.md, img/, promo/.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
