Unity-AI-ParticleSystem: Instructions file for Codex

AGENTS.md

Unity-AI-ParticleSystem AGENTS.md is an instructions file for Codex, OpenCode from IvanMurzak/Unity-AI-ParticleSystem. It costs 1,012 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

Repository instructions for a Unity package that lets AI inspect and modify Unity ParticleSystem components. They describe the project layout, commands, tools, data structures, and tests.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use them when developing, testing, or reviewing the Unity-AI-ParticleSystem package and its particle inspection or modification tools.
Why use it?
They give an agent the project-specific rules it needs to change particle-system code without breaking package structure or required tests.

This is IvanMurzak/Unity-AI-ParticleSystem's own configuration. It tells Codex and OpenCode how to work on Unity-AI-ParticleSystem itself, so it is not a mod to install elsewhere. Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.01012 $0.01012
Opus 5.5 $0.00405 $0.00405
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00202 $0.00202
Haiku 4.5 $0.00101 $0.00101

Measured 23d ago against content hash 9df235959f52, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-10-07, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

Unity-AI-ParticleSystem AGENTS.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 23d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

AGENTS.md — Unity-AI-ParticleSystem

Unity package com.ivanmurzak.unity.mcp.particlesystem — makes Unity ParticleSystem components available to Unity-MCP's RQL tools (rql-query / rql-mutate; no extension MCP tools): writable module structs, MinMaxCurve / MinMaxGradient literals and playback methods. An extension of AI Game Developer (com.ivanmurzak.unity.mcp), generated from Unity-AI-Tools-Template; the user-facing tool list is in README.md.

Layout

  • Unity-Package/ — Unity project hosting the package; only Packages/com.ivanmurzak.unity.mcp.particlesystem/ ships.
    • package.json — the version source of truth and the dependency pins.
    • Editor/Scripts/Rql/ — the RQL module (ParticleSystemModule: adapters, guide), one adapter per file (<Namespace_Type>_Adapter.cs); new operations are adapter methods.
    • Runtime/ — runtime assembly (currently empty).
    • Tests/Editor/Rql/ (EditMode, ParticleTestBase + one file per adapter / module) and Tests/Runtime/ (PlayMode).
  • Unity-Tests/<unity-version>/ — one test project per supported Unity version, consuming the package via file:. A new version must also be added to test_pull_request.yml and release.yml (and open-all-projects-*).
  • Installer/ — Unity project that exports the .unitypackage installer (Assets/com.IvanMurzak/<name> Installer/).
  • commands/ — PowerShell helpers (below) and check-versions.py (synced in by the release cascade — do not hand-edit; CI runs it as the version-consistency gate).
  • .github/workflows/ — test_pull_request.yml (PR test matrix), test_unity_plugin.yml (reusable test job), release.yml, bump_version.yml, claude.yml (@claude mentions).
  • docs/ — user docs: Deploy-{OpenUPM,GitHub,npmjs}.md, Manual-Package-Rename.md, openupm-signing.md, img/.

Commands (PowerShell, from the repo root)

./commands/bump-version.ps1 -NewVersion "x.y.z" # package.json + Installer.cs in lock-step; -WhatIf to preview
./commands/get-version.ps1
./commands/update-ai-game-developer.ps1 # bump the com.ivanmurzak.unity.mcp pin; -WhatIf to preview
./commands/open-all-projects-windows.ps1 # open all Unity projects (or -unix.sh)
./commands/use-local-mcp.ps1 [-Local|-Remote] # point the Unity-MCP dep at a local checkout / back to OpenUPM

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
