Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.02711 | $0.02711 |
| Opus 5 | $0.01355 | $0.01355 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.00542 | $0.00542 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00271 | $0.00271 |
Grade A, and why
nes-php-glfw CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 8d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
This is a copy
94% identical to nes-php-glfw copilot-instructions.md — 26 lines differ, which has more behind it and is treated as the original. This page carries a canonical link to it rather than competing with it.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 386 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
Claude Development Guidelines for NES Emulator
This document provides guidelines for AI-assisted development of this NES (Nintendo Entertainment System) emulator written in PHP.
Agent Document Source of Truth
AGENTS.mdis the master agentic development document for this repository.- If this document disagrees with
AGENTS.md, followAGENTS.md. - Keep this document and all other agentic development documents in sync with
AGENTS.md, including.cursorrules,.github/copilot-instructions.md, and.junie/guidelines.md. - When changing agent guidance, update
AGENTS.mdfirst, then update the corresponding Cursor, Claude, Copilot, Junie, and contributor-facing documentation in the same change.
Project Overview
This is a cycle-accurate NES emulator implementation in PHP 8.5+ using:
- Graphics: PHP-GLFW (OpenGL) via the VISU framework
- Architecture: 6502 CPU emulation, PPU (Picture Processing Unit), APU (Audio Processing Unit - planned)
- Testing: PHPUnit with comprehensive unit and integration tests
- Quality: PHPStan for static analysis, Laravel Pint for code formatting
Code Style & Standards
Documentation
Properties and Methods:
- All properties must have docblocks describing their purpose
- All methods must have docblocks describing what they do
- Only include
@paramor@returnwhen generics need to be declared (e.g.,list<int>,array<int, string>) - Use
@throws,@see, or@inheritDocwhen appropriate - Do NOT add class-level docblocks
Example:
/**
* The current PPU cycle within a scanline.
*/
private int $cycle = 0;
/**
* Executes a single CPU instruction and returns the number of cycles consumed.
*
* @throws \RuntimeException
*/
public function run(): int
{
// ...
}
Comments
General Rules:
- Remove superfluous comments that merely restate the code
- All comments must end with a period (.)
- Multi-line comments use C-style
/* */syntax - Single-line comments use
//syntax - Keep comments that explain complex logic or non-obvious behavior
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
