pneuma-skills: Instructions file for Codex

AGENTS.md

pneuma-skills AGENTS.md is an instructions file for Codex, OpenCode from pandazki/pneuma-skills. It costs 13,732 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

A shared AGENTS.md file that tells coding agents how to work in the Pneuma Skills project, including its tools, structure, and rules.

In plain words
What is it for?
It helps agents understand the project, choose the right commands, and read the relevant rules before editing files.
Why use it?
It keeps agent instructions in one place and prevents different agents from using copied or outdated guidance.

Instructions file for CodexOpenCode

Written for Codex and OpenCode: the file is AGENTS.md. Also seen: reads .claude/ paths; mentions CLAUDE.md; mentions subagents.

This is pandazki/pneuma-skills's own configuration. It tells Codex and OpenCode how to work on pneuma-skills itself, so it is not a mod to install elsewhere. Copy it as a starting point and replace the rules that are about this project. Everything pneuma-skills configures →

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.13732 $0.13732
Opus 5 $0.06866 $0.06866
Sonnet 5 $0.02746 $0.02746
Haiku 4.5 $0.01373 $0.01373

Security

Grade A, and why

pneuma-skills AGENTS.md scanned grade A with 1 finding against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured yesterday.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

How it starts

The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 482 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.

Pneuma Skills

Single source of truth for agent instructions. Claude Code reads this via the one-line @AGENTS.md import in CLAUDE.md; Codex and Kimi read this file directly. Never duplicate content into CLAUDE.md — it must stay a single import line.

Per-domain constraints and gotchas live in .claude/rules/before editing files in a domain, read the matching rule file (Claude Code auto-loads them by path; other agents must read them explicitly). Index in Development Toolchain.

Project Overview

Pneuma Skills is co-creation infrastructure for humans and code agents. Agents edit files directly (Read/Edit/Write); files remain the canonical collaboration surface. Viewers are live players for agent output, rendering work in domain terms (a deck, a board, a project) so humans can watch, intervene in the UI, or hand structured guidance back. Four pillars: a visual environment (live players with optional participation), skills (domain knowledge + seed templates + session persistence), continuous learning (evolution agent for cross-session preference extraction), and distribution (mode marketplace, publishing, sharing). Multiple agent backends (Claude Code, Codex, Kimi CLI) selected at startup.

Formula: ModeManifest(skill + viewer + agent_config) × AgentBackend × RuntimeShell

Version: 3.46.4 Runtime: Bun >= 1.3.14 (required, not Node.js) Builtin Modes: webcraft, doc, slide, draw, diagram, illustrate, remotion, gridboard, kami, clipcraft, cosmos, wordtaste, bansho, eli5, plotwise, mode-maker, evolve, project-evolve, project-onboard, project-tidy

Modes can set hidden: true to disappear from user-pickable lists (launcher grids, ProjectPanel mode-tile picker). Their sessions are also stamped internal: true by scanProjectSessions and filtered out of user-facing session lists (project panel, project cards, quick-resume). Internal modes (evolve, project-evolve, project-onboard, project-tidy) are hidden — triggered by specific UI affordances or programmatically, never by a "what mode to start?" choice.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
