CLAUDE.md

ai-workflow-playbooks CLAUDE.md is an instructions file for Claude Code from varunk130/ai-workflow-playbooks. It costs 298 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

Repository-specific instructions for an AI workflow playbooks project. The project contains guides, review roles, checklists, lifecycle stages, and command definitions for software delivery.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it when working in that repository and needing to understand its playbooks, pipeline stages, guardians, runbooks, or documentation layout.
Why use it?
It gives a coding agent the project's structure, terminology, and required process so its work follows the repository's conventions.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00298 $0.00298
Opus 5 $0.00149 $0.00149
Sonnet 5 $0.00060 $0.00060
Haiku 4.5 $0.00030 $0.00030

Measured 8d ago against content hash a3ed6569c613, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-08, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

ai-workflow-playbooks CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 8d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

AI Workflow Playbooks - Project Context

This repository contains structured engineering playbooks designed for AI coding agents. Each playbook guides agents through a specific phase of the software delivery pipeline with executable workflows, exit criteria, and anti-pattern guards.

Repository Layout

  • playbooks/ - 21 operational playbooks organized by pipeline stage
  • skills/ - 10 agent skills loaded on demand to augment the playbooks
  • guardians/ - 4 specialist review personas (architecture, quality, security, operations)
  • runbooks/ - 5 cross-cutting operational checklists
  • lifecycle/ - Pipeline stage documentation and hooks
  • docs/ - Platform-specific setup guides
  • .claude/commands/ - 7 pipeline slash commands

Pipeline Stages

DISCOVER → ARCHITECT → CONSTRUCT → HARDEN → VALIDATE → RELEASE → OPERATE

Each stage gates the next: an agent must satisfy a stage's exit criteria before proceeding. Skipping stages is an anti-pattern; a guardian review is required at HARDEN and VALIDATE.

Conventions

  • Playbook files are named PLAYBOOK.md
  • Each playbook has: Objective, Triggers, Workflow, Guardrails, Exit Criteria, Anti-Patterns
  • Guardians are specialist personas loaded for targeted review
  • Runbooks are reference checklists loaded on demand
  • All content is plain Markdown for maximum agent compatibility
Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
