What is openfda-mcp-server?

An MCP server that lets an agent search U.S. Food and Drug Administration data about medicines, food, medical devices, and recalls. It can communicate through standard input/output or a web connection.

Use it to look up drug records, food-related data, medical-device information, and product recalls from FDA sources.

It removes the need to manually search FDA data or build a separate connection to the openFDA service. An optional API key can be configured for access.
