An Android app for running ADB, root, and shell commands directly from an Android device or against another device. ADB is Android's tool for sending commands and files between devices, while a shell is a text-based command interface.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to run commands locally or over USB and wireless debugging, inspect logs, search or save output, and push or pull files.
Why use it?
It removes the need for a computer during many device-management and debugging tasks. It also keeps command output, examples, bookmarks, and file transfers in one place.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00049 $0.00272
Opus 5.5 $0.00020 $0.00109
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00010 $0.00054
Haiku 4.5 $0.00005 $0.00027

Measured 2d ago against content hash b88878275252, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-10-07, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

ags-a-shell-you scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 2d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

aShellYou

Author: DP-Hridayan Source: mcp-gamehacking/skills/ags-a-shell-you

Description

aShell You is a fully featured Android shell utility app that lets you run ADB, root, and shell commands on your own device or on other devices over OTG or wireless debugging, without needing a PC. It is written primarily in Kotlin with Jetpack Compose and Material Design 3, and includes an embedded ADB library plus optional native components. Key capabilities include local execution via Shizuku or root, remote control of other Android devices, built-in ADB command examples, an ADB push/pull file explorer, continuous command support such as logcat, output search and save/share, and command bookmarks with local backup and restore. It targets Android developers, power users, and tinkerers who need a convenient on-device ADB and shell workflow for debugging and device management.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
