ags-advanced-root-checker

ags-advanced-root-checker is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from 1llu50ry/mcp-gamehacking. It costs 48 tokens per session (274 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

An offline Android app that checks a device for root access and related changes to system security. Root access gives apps elevated control over an Android device, and the app also checks for tampering tools, hooks, debuggers, and altered app signatures.

In plain words
What is it for?
It is for Android security checks, anti-root and anti-cheat research, and reviewing indicators such as su, Magisk, modified SELinux settings, and suspicious libraries.
Why use it?
It gives users and developers a local way to assess device risk without sending the checks to a server.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00048 $0.00274
Opus 5.5 $0.00019 $0.00110
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00010 $0.00055
Haiku 4.5 $0.00005 $0.00027

Measured 2d ago against content hash 44b905e50878, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-10-07, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

ags-advanced-root-checker scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 2d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Advanced Root Checker

Author: Laert-Android Source: mcp-gamehacking/skills/ags-advanced-root-checker

Description

Advanced Root Checker is a free, open-source Android app that scans a device for root indicators and related security risks entirely offline. Written in Java for Android 5.0 and above, it runs dozens of checks covering su binaries, BusyBox, Magisk, KernelSU, APatch, Zygisk, Xposed/LSPosed, root cloaking apps, SELinux state, and dangerous system properties. It also includes an anti-tamper section that looks for Frida, Xposed hooks, debuggers, suspicious libraries, and APK signature or package-name changes, plus device security info and a risk score summary. The primary use case is local Android security assessment and root detection for users, developers, and anyone evaluating anti-root or anti-cheat style checks without network access.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
