write-prs

write-prs is a skill for Codex from 6529-Collections/6529seize-frontend. It costs 94 tokens per session (2,168 once invoked), scanned A, original, Apache-2.0.

A workflow for preparing pull requests (PRs), which are proposed code changes sent for review before merging. It covers writing the description, checking the change, handling review bots, and preparing merge or deployment handoffs.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to inspect diffs and tests, write or update PRs, respond to CodeRabbit or Claude review comments, prepare signed commits, and hand off approved changes for staging or production.
Why use it?
It removes guesswork from deciding when a PR is ready and records what was checked, what remains, and whether deployment was requested.

SkillSpector: 6 findings, up to medium

These are SkillSpector’s own severities. On a checked sample its high-severity flags on skills were ~96% false positives — a documented command, a public API, a “never do X” rule — so we show them as a caution to read, not a verdict. Why →

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00094 $0.02168
Opus 5 $0.00047 $0.01084
Sonnet 5 $0.00019 $0.00434
Haiku 4.5 $0.00009 $0.00217

Security

Grade A, and why

write-prs scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 4d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Write PRs

Workflow

  1. Determine the requested completion mode:

    • review-ready: create or update the PR and stop once available review bots and the agent are satisfied.
    • merge: do everything in review-ready, then hand off to ops/skills/deploy-6529/SKILL.md for merge execution when required checks and approvals allow it.
    • staging: hand off to ops/skills/deploy-6529/SKILL.md for merge, staging deployment, and health validation. Never prepare, publish, or trigger a release note for staging.
    • prod: hand off to ops/skills/deploy-6529/SKILL.md for production deployment and health validation. Never author or post a release note; the existing autonomous bot owns production release notes.

If the user did not explicitly request merge or deployment, stop at review-ready.

  2. Inspect the change before writing:

    • Read the issue, task, or user request.
    • Review git status, the diff, changed files, and relevant tests.
    • Separate user changes from agent changes; do not revert unrelated work.
    • Verify whether docs, generated files, migrations, routes, dependencies, auth, payments, analytics, or deployment-sensitive code are touched.
  3. Write a concise PR title and body with this format:

    ## Issue

    - What problem, user need, bug, or follow-up this PR addresses.

    ## Fix

    - The core solution and why it is appropriate.

    ## Changes

    - Notable code, docs, config, API, UX, or data-shape changes.

    ## Validation

    - Commands, checks, screenshots, E2E runs, or manual flows completed.
    - Anything intentionally not tested, with the reason and residual risk.

    ## Risk

    - Level: Low | Medium | High
    - Why: blast radius, reversibility, data/security/performance/deploy impact.
    - Rollback: expected rollback or mitigation path.

    ## Review Notes

    - Areas reviewers or bots should focus on, plus any trade-offs.

Omit empty sections only when truly irrelevant. Add screenshots or short videos for visual UI changes when available.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
