What is asc-xcode-build?

A build workflow for turning an iOS or macOS app's source code into an IPA or PKG file ready for App Store Connect, Apple's app-distribution service.

Use it to clean, archive, sign, and export apps for upload to Apple's store services.

It provides the required archive and export steps, including project regeneration and app signing prerequisites.

Use this skill when you need to build an app from source and prepare it for upload to App Store Connect.

Preconditions

Xcode installed and command line tools configured
Valid signing identity and provisioning profiles (or automatic signing enabled)
If a project.yml exists, run xcodegen generate before building to sync build settings
