What is bhag-goal-setting?

A long-term goal-setting method for choosing one bold, clear direction for a company, team, or person, usually looking 10 to 25 years ahead. It breaks that direction into three- to five-year targets and yearly goals.

Use it to define a company or team’s major future aim, check whether plans support that aim, and divide the journey into medium-term and annual goals.

It helps when short-term targets do not inspire people or explain where the organization is going. It gives everyday decisions a shared long-term reference point.

I — 方法论骨架 (Interpretation)

BHAG（Big Hairy Audacious Goal，宏大冒险目标）是Scaling Up方法论的核心锚点。

核心逻辑： 一个真正有效的BHAG必须满足4个条件：①时间跨度10-25年（不是1-3年的年度目标）；②足够大胆以激励整个组织（不是踮脚就能够到的目标）；③清晰到让团队能描述出来（不是模糊的愿景）；④能指引所有中间决策的方向（所有行动都能问"这是否帮我们接近BHAG"）。

与普通目标的关键区别： BHAG不是"我想赚1000万"这种财务目标，而是"我们要成为X行业Y细分市场的全球领导者"这种方向性地标。财务目标是BHAG的副产品，不是BHAG本身。

BHAG的三个层次：

关键约束： BHAG必须与Core Values一致——如果实现路径需要违背价值观，那这个BHAG不值得追求。
