dont-copy-compensation

dont-copy-compensation is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from ace3000chao/book2startup. It costs 159 tokens per session (3,842 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A compensation-design approach that builds pay and rewards around a company's values, business model, and promise to customers.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to design salaries, bonuses, and equity rewards that support the behaviors and business results your company actually wants.
Why use it?
Copying another company's pay system may reward behaviors that do not fit your own organization or goals.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00159 $0.03842
Opus 5 $0.00079 $0.01921
Sonnet 5 $0.00032 $0.00768
Haiku 4.5 $0.00016 $0.00384

Measured 9d ago against content hash 1cffacdbc8cc, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-09, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

dont-copy-compensation scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 9d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Don't Copy Someone Else's Compensation System(不要复制别人的薪酬体系)

R — 原文 (Reading)

"Don't copy somebody else's compensation system. Look to your Core Values, your business model, and your Brand Promise, and let them instruct you in the design of your compensation plan."

— Verne Harnish, Scaling Up, 第5章

(Interpretation)

(North Stars):

  1. Core Values(核心价值观)

  2. Business Model(商业模式)

  3. Brand Promise(品牌承诺)

Core Values →
Business Model →
Brand Promise →

(Past Application)
