odoo-attendance

odoo-attendance is a skill for Claude Code from actinon-com/brass-monkey. It costs 28 tokens per session (453 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A guide to Odoo Attendance, the part of the Odoo business system that records employee check-ins, check-outs, working hours, and overtime.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it when adding or changing Odoo attendance workflows, verifying worked hours, managing overtime, or handling kiosk check-in and check-out.
Why use it?
It helps an agent handle attendance records correctly, including open check-ins, working schedules, approval requirements, and kiosk authentication.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00028 $0.00453
Opus 5 $0.00014 $0.00227
Sonnet 5 $0.00006 $0.00091
Haiku 4.5 $0.00003 $0.00045

Security

Grade A, and why

odoo-attendance scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 8d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Skill: Odoo Attendance

This skill provides the agent with functional expertise in Odoo's Attendance module, covering check-in/out logs, working hour verification, and overtime management.

Core Mandates

1. Attendance Lifecycle

  • Record (hr.attendance): A simple log with a check_in and optional check_out datetime.
  • Open Sessions: An employee can only have ONE record with an empty check_out at any time. This represents a currently "Checked In" status.
  • Mandate: Always verify the attendance_state on the hr.employee record before attempting to create a new check-in or update a check-out.

2. Overtime & Verification

  • Worked Hours: Automatically calculated as the difference between check_in and check_out.
  • Expected Hours: Pulled from the employee's Working Schedule (resource.calendar) via their contract.
  • Overtime: Calculated as Worked Hours - Expected Hours. The agent should check overtime_status to see if extra hours require manager approval.

3. Kiosk Mode & Security

  • Authentication: In Kiosk mode, employees use a pin or barcode (on the hr.employee model) to authenticate.
  • Data Integrity: Mandate that agents do not manually create overlapping attendance records, as this will break Odoo's internal hour reporting.

4. Search Workflow

  1. Status Check: Search hr.employee to find the current attendance_state.
  2. Log Review: Query hr.attendance filtered by employee_id and check_in date range.
  3. Overtime Audit: Check the total_overtime computed field on the employee record for a historical summary.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
