Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00077 | $0.01916 |
| Opus 5.5 | $0.00031 | $0.00766 |
| Sonnet 5.5 | $0.00015 | $0.00383 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00008 | $0.00192 |
Grade A, and why
performance-ratios scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 8d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 105 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
performance-ratios
The workbook is the single source of every historical input. An agent reads it by name, never by cell address — cells move, names do not. This skill says what the names mean, what can be derived from them, and what has to hold true for a downstream model to be trusted.
1. Read the workbook first
- List every defined name and the cell it points to. Any name below that is missing, points to an empty cell or returns an error is a stop: report it, do not guess a value.
- Read the currency and scale of the statements from the Notes tab's Units row (for example
"VND million", "EUR thousand"). Every amount on the statement tabs carries that unit; the tabs'
subtitles defer to it. An older copy of the template whose subtitles still say
$millionsis overruled by the Units row. - Read the four analyst assumptions on the Ratios tab and where each came from.
2. Naming convention
| Pattern | Meaning | Examples |
|---|---|---|
BAL_<item>_curr, BAL_<item>_prior |
Balance-sheet line, current or prior year-end | BAL_debt_long_term_curr, BAL_equity_shareholders_prior |
INC_<item> |
Income-statement line, current year only | INC_sales, INC_ebit, INC_interest_expense |
CASH_<item> |
Cash-flow subtotal, current year only | CASH_operating, CASH_investments, CASH_capex, CASH_working_capital_change |
| no prefix | Analyst assumption | share_price, shares_outstanding, cost_capital, tax_rate |
startYear_<item> |
Alias of a prior-year balance | startYear_equity ≡ BAL_equity_shareholders_prior |
currentYear_<item> |
Current-year balance or derived figure | currentYear_after_tax_operating_income |
avg_<item> |
Mean of start-of-year and current-year | avg_equity, avg_total_capitalization |
RATIO_<name> |
Ratio reused in the Du Pont decomposition | RATIO_asset_turnover, RATIO_leverage |
yearCurrent and yearStart hold the fiscal years; market_capitalization =
share_price × shares_outstanding.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

performance-ratios is a skill published in the GitHub repository adamwstauffer/shidler (10 stars, last pushed 3d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 77 tokens to every session and 1,916 once invoked, about $0.0003 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-10-17.
