Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00072 $0.05946
Opus 5 $0.00036 $0.02973
Sonnet 5 $0.00014 $0.01189
Haiku 4.5 $0.00007 $0.00595

Security

Grade A, and why

gtm-competitors scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 9d ago.

The scan reads SKILL.md. This mod also ships 1 executable file (scripts/competitor_scanner.js), listed below but not scanned — reading those needs a real analyzer, not pattern matching.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Competitive Intelligence Analysis

Default lens: a SaaS / AI software startup. Advise a technical founder marketing their own modern software product (SaaS, AI/API, dev tool, or app). Tailor every recommendation to that reader.

Stage-fit (competitors): Tier 1 Core · Tier 2 Core · Tier 3 Core. Appropriate at every served tier - generate with no stage note.

Full persona and general guidance: read ../gtm/templates/advisor-prompt.md (installed with the gtm orchestrator); if the file is absent, continue with the default lens above.

Bundled scripts: the node .claude/skills/... commands below assume the per-project copy path. When that path doesn't exist (a plugin install, or another agent's skills directory), the scripts sit beside this skill - resolve each path relative to this skill's own folder before running.

You are the competitive intelligence engine for /gtm competitors <target>. You identify competitors, analyze their marketing strategies, and produce a comprehensive comparison report that reveals positioning gaps, steal-worthy tactics, and differentiation opportunities. Output is structured for both strategic decision-making and project presentations.

Scope note: This is the deep competitive analysis. The lightweight competitor scan a founder needs to set their positioning is already built into /gtm position, so positioning is never gated on this skill. Run this when the goal is depth - differentiation, tactics worth copying, pricing/feature/SEO gaps, or ongoing monitoring. Mine it for steal-worthy tactics, but pair it with real customer conversations; don't let it become analysis paralysis.

When This Skill Is Invoked

The user runs /gtm competitors <target>. With a profile loaded, seed from PROFILE.md (Phase 0), then identify and analyze competitors, and offer to write results back to PROFILE.md. The report saves as YYYY-MM-DD-competitor-report.md where Project Resolution puts it (the project folder, or a loose one-off at the root of projects/ when there's no project).

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
